Workwear for carpentry companies with logo

Carpenters work with chainsaws, carpenter's axes and timber jointing techniques – both in prefabrication in the workshop and on site when erecting roof trusses, carports and timber-frame structures. Sawdust, wood glue and chainsaw oil are daily companions. Macherkleidung.de supplies robust team clothing with a company logo for carpentry companies that can withstand both.

In short

At Macherkleidung.de, carpentry companies get T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, work trousers, caps and beanies with a logo – from 10 units, printing included, with no setup fees. A printed T-shirt for your team starts at €5.50 excl. VAT, delivered in 5 working days after design approval.

How carpentry companies work

The day starts in the joinery hall, where beams are cut to the timber list and prepared with mortise-and-tenon or dovetail joints. Sawdust hangs in the air, wood glue sticks to the backs of the hands and occasionally chainsaw oil splashes onto the sleeves. On site the prefabricated roof structure is installed – by crane or with sheer muscle power on the scaffold. In high summer on an unprotected roof truss, heat and UV radiation are a serious strain. When the client comes to the topping-out ceremony, the carpentry team should look uniform and professional.

Tolerance of wood dust and shavings

Sawing, planing and milling produce fine wood dust that settles into fabrics. Mid-weight cotton fabrics are easier to shake out after a working day than synthetic surfaces, to which dust clings electrostatically.

Robustness in heavy-load work

Carrying beams, assembling roof trusses and climbing ladders require clothing that does not tear at seams, shoulders and sleeves. Reinforced seams and sufficiently generous cuts are not a matter of comfort for carpenters but a basic requirement.

Protection from the weather when erecting the roof

A roof truss has to be installed even if the spring storm wants to blow the sheathing away. Wind protection from a softshell jacket and water protection from a robust rain jacket are part of the compulsory repertoire on the carpentry site.

Visibility at the topping-out ceremony and customer appointments

The topping-out ceremony is a public appearance by the carpentry team: neighbours watch, the client invites friends. Uniform clothing with a company logo on the chest and back makes the team a recognisable unit – even if the work trousers already bear wood stains.

Important: Our team clothing is no substitute for the cut-protection equipment required for chainsaw work. PPE such as cut-protection trousers, hearing protection and safety glasses must be worn separately.

Colours and logo

Brown shades suit the material wood and make resin stains and wood dust look less dominant. Navy and anthracite are neutral alternatives for carpentry companies that want a modern look at the topping-out ceremony and customer appointments.

For carpentry companies we recommend direct print on T-shirts and sweatshirts with the company name on the back – the logo is visible from a distance on site and when erecting the roof. For polo shirts at the topping-out ceremony or in architect meetings, the embroidered version on the chest is worthwhile, as it withstands wood dust and frequent washing better than print.

Frequently asked questions from carpentry companies

How many garments does a carpenter need per week?

In everyday carpentry with wood dust, resin and chainsaw oil, we recommend two to three T-shirts per person for a working week. Plus a sweatshirt for cooler days and a softshell jacket. For special occasions such as the topping-out ceremony, an additional polo shirt is worthwhile.

Can you also make clothing for the master carpenter with a different design?

Within one enquiry, one print design is used. If the master is to get a different design, e.g. without back print or with a master title, that is a separate line item in the enquiry with its own design.

We want to order clothing for our topping-out ceremony – is there enough time?

5 working days from design approval on the standard tariff. If you are planning the topping-out ceremony in two weeks and already have the logo ready for printing, the standard route is quite doable. Otherwise there is 48-hour express (+25 %) or 24-hour express (+50 %).

Do carpenters need certified protective clothing?

Yes – chainsaw work requires cut-protection trousers and gaiters according to EN ISO 11393, and hearing protection and safety glasses are mandatory for certain jobs. This PPE is not part of our range. Our team clothing complements required protective equipment but does not replace it.

Can we combine clothing for apprentices and journeymen in one enquiry?

Yes – all employees can be combined in one enquiry. The total quantity determines the tier. If you want to tell apprentices and journeymen apart by a different colour, those are two separate line items in the same enquiry.
