How metal fabrication companies work
In metal fabrication, welding on steel beams, CNC bending of aluminium profiles, installing railings and steel balconies, and deliveries directly to the client all sit side by side in the daily schedule. Metal chips, grinding dust, cutting oil and grease spread over clothing and hands. For exterior installations on scaffolding or lifts, weather and wind come on top. When the owner or fitter discusses dimensions with the customer or signs off the structure, the appearance is the company's business card.
Metal dust resistance
Grinding dust, metal chips and cutting oil leave marks on every textile. Dark shades and dense woven fabric hide these residues best and are easier to clean.
Protection from sparks when grinding
Grinding work produces flying sparks that can leave burn marks in textiles. Even though our clothing is not certified welder's PPE, for grinding work we recommend close-fitting fabrics without protruding fibres.
Freedom of movement for installation
Welding in tight angles, fitting railing posts or installing steel doors requires free shoulder movement. Loosely cut tops and trousers with a stretch zone are better than slim fits.
Customer impression at handover
When handing over a balcony railing, carport or staircase to the client, a well-kept appearance counts. Uniform clothing with a logo shows that you are an organised professional firm.

Colours and logo
Anthracite and black hide metal dust and grease most reliably. Navy is the classic alternative for companies with a lighter corporate look and works well for customer appointments.

The company logo on the back makes the metal fabrication team recognisable at installation sites, building sites and factory grounds. For polo shirts at measuring and handover appointments at the customer's, embroidery is recommended: it survives contact with metal dust and frequent washing without peeling or cracking. On T-shirts and sweatshirts, digital print with a chest logo and back design is the more practical choice.

Frequently asked questions from metal fabrication companies
Is the team clothing suitable as welder protection?
No. Our products are not certified PPE and no substitute for welder's protective clothing. For professional welding, approved protective clothing is required by law. Our clothing is suitable for everyday workshop life away from the active welding zone, for customer appointments and for installation phases without direct welding.
Which colour holds up best against grinding dust and cutting oil?
Anthracite and black hide metallic grinding dust and dark cutting oil best. Lighter shades such as grey show oil marks more. For daily workshop work, we recommend anthracite as a good compromise between dirt masking and customer impression.
Can we mix different products in one enquiry?
Yes. T-shirts for the workshop, polo shirts for field service and work trousers count together towards the total quantity and thus together give the more favourable quantity tier.
How long does delivery of a complete company kit take?
The standard is 5 working days from approval of the print design. For express needs, there are 48 h and 24 h options for a surcharge. We clarify the exact process with you personally after your enquiry.
Can I design the logo the same for indoor and outdoor fitters?
Yes. You can have the same logo printed on all product groups. If you want different designs for field service and workshop, you clarify that in the enquiry; we calculate both designs and check feasibility.
