Reordering Team Clothing: What to Keep in Mind
In short
Reorders are possible at any time – you submit a new enquiry with the desired items, sizes and quantities. The minimum quantity is 10 pieces for reorders as well. So that the new clothing matches the existing order exactly, you should have the model, colour, size and, if possible, the design files from the first order ready.
How does a reorder work?
A reorder works like a new enquiry: you state which model and colour you are reordering, how many pieces in which sizes you need, and upload the print design (logo) again or refer to an earlier enquiry. After a personal review you receive a guide price, agree design and details and give the written approval. Production then starts as with a first order.
What to have ready for the reorder
The more precisely you have the details from the first order at hand, the faster the reorder runs. Important are: model name and variant (standard or premium), colour (exact – colour names can be similar), the print design as a file (ideally the vector file from the first order) and details on placement (chest, back, size of the design). If you documented your first order – keep the order confirmation – that is the simplest reference.
Minimum quantity and tiers for reorders
A minimum quantity of 10 pieces for online guide prices also applies to reorders. This means: if individual new colleagues need clothing, it is sometimes worth bundling reorders – e.g. once per quarter or half-year for all new joiners. That way you are more likely to reach a cheaper tier than with individual small orders. It is not possible to link a reorder to the tier of an earlier order.
Colour consistency in reorders
Colours can vary slightly between different production lots – this is common in the textile industry and not specific to macherkleidung.de. If exact colour consistency with the first order is important, point this out explicitly when you enquire. We will then check what is possible. For team clothing that is reordered over several years, slight colour variations between old and new items are normally hardly noticeable in everyday work.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a reorder take?
The delivery time is the same as for a first order: standard 5 working days from print approval, express 48 h (+25 %) or 24 h (+50 %). If you need it quickly, plan express early and make sure the design and sizes are settled immediately.
What if the original model is no longer available?
Product models can change over time. If a model is no longer available, we look for a suitable alternative together and agree whether the new model matches the old one in look and quality. Point out explicitly in your enquiry that consistency with the first order is important.
Do we have to upload the print design again?
Yes, for every new enquiry the design should be submitted again, to make sure the latest version is used. If nothing has changed, the same file as the first time is enough – ideally the vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF).
