Workwear for electricians with logo

Electricians work on dirty shell construction sites as well as in well-kept homes and server rooms – the clothing has to work in both worlds. On the new-build site, plaster dust comes with chasing out cable channels; at the customer's in an old building, a clean appearance counts. Macherkleidung.de supplies team clothing with a company logo for electrical companies that covers both.

In short

At Macherkleidung.de, electrical companies get T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, work trousers, caps and beanies with a logo – from 10 units, printing included, with no setup fees. A printed T-shirt for your team starts at €5.50 excl. VAT, delivered in 5 working days after design approval.

How electrical companies work

The morning often begins with laying NYM cables in a shell construction ceiling or wiring a sub-distribution board. Plaster dust from chasing the walls, cable insulation offcuts and occasionally solder leave marks on the sleeves. In the afternoon a meter cabinet is to be replaced at a private customer's – here the customer expects a well-kept, recognisable team of tradespeople at the front door. For industrial installations, metal shavings from laying cable trays and oil from drilling machines are added.

Tolerance of dust when chasing and drilling

Plaster dust, lime dust and concrete powder settle into every fabric when chasing walls. Dark mid-weight cotton garments show white dust less and can be freshened up quickly with a shake-out before the customer visit.

Reputable appearance at the private customer's

An electrician ringing the doorbell immediately represents the company. Uniform company lettering on the chest and back signals to the customer that this is the specialist company they booked.

Freedom of movement when pulling cables and working in switchgear cabinets

Pulling cables through conduits, lifting arms overhead and moving about in switchgear cabinet compartments require maximum freedom for shoulders and arms. Cuts that do not restrict under the armpits are particularly important in the electrical trade.

Layering for building site and customer appointment

Early in the morning on the cold new-build site you need warmth; in the afternoon in a heated old building the T-shirt is enough. A variable layering system of T-shirt, sweatshirt and softshell jacket equips the team for both situations.

Important: Our team clothing is not certified as arc or antistatic protection. Where special protective clothing is required for electrical work, it must be worn separately.

Colours and logo

Navy is the standard colour in the electrical trade, which makes plaster dust less noticeable and looks professional at customer appointments. Grey and anthracite complete the colour system for sweatshirts and jackets into a harmonious overall look.

For T-shirts and sweatshirts we recommend direct print on the chest and back – the logo on the back makes the team recognisable to customers and site managers when working in a cable duct or under the ceiling. For polo shirts that you wear at customer appointments, the embroidered version on the chest is worth it – it lasts longer and looks more high-quality in homes than print.

Frequently asked questions from electrical companies

Can we have a different logo on the jacket than on the T-shirts?

No – one print design for the chest and one for the back is used per order. If you need different logos for different product groups, those are separate enquiries, each with its own approval.

Do you also offer antistatic or flame-retardant clothing for electrical work?

No – our range covers team clothing with a logo without protection-class certification. Where antistatic textiles, arc protection or other PPE are required for your work, they have to be procured separately. Our clothing complements required protective equipment but does not replace it.

How big should the logo on the back be?

The back design uses the usual print area for T-shirts and sweatshirts – we will give you the exact dimensions during the design check. In general, for back print we recommend aiming for legibility from a medium distance: company name large, web address or phone number smaller underneath. We check your design for print quality before approval.

We want the same clothing for apprentices and journeymen – is that possible?

Yes, no problem. You can put everyone in one enquiry and benefit from the combined total quantity for the tier. If you want to tell apprentices and journeymen apart visually, e.g. with a different colour, those are then two line items in the enquiry.

We have to order at short notice for a new opening – how fast can it be done?

After approval of the print design, the standard delivery time is 5 working days. For really tight timing there is 48-hour express (+25 % on the list price) and 24-hour express (+50 %). Important: the clock starts from design approval, not from the enquiry – so you should get the logo ready for printing early.
