How fireplace installation companies work
Fireplace projects mostly start in the heating season: customers want a new wood stove, a pellet stove or a masonry heater, and they want it before winter. The installation crew pulls stainless steel flues through masonry, sets baffle plates, grouts with refractory mortar and fits stove doors. Dust and dirt are everywhere – fireclay and mortar dust settle in the fabric, and sawdust from breakthrough work adds to it. After installation comes the customer briefing, sometimes with the whole family at the freshly installed stove – this is where appearance counts.
Fireclay & mortar dust
Refractory mortar and fireclay powder leave light grey marks on light fabric. Dark, dense cotton qualities are easier to clean and show dust less clearly.
Living rooms & customer contact
Fireplace installers work in the customer's living room – sometimes with expensive parquet and white walls all around. Neatly dressed staff in a logo shirt convey care and respect for the customer's property.
Heat & ventilation
Grouting and bricking in the firebox and flue system gets warm in confined spaces. Light, breathable cotton tops are preferable to heavy synthetic fibres.
Outdoor work & roof access
Flue connections at the roof require climbs in any weather. A wind- and water-repellent jacket with a logo is indispensable for this work.

Colours and logo
Anthracite and black hide fireclay, mortar and soot stains most effectively – after a long installation day in the customer's living room, the clothing still looks acceptable. Navy works well for polo shirts at the final briefing.

On T-shirts and sweatshirts, a chest print with the company name is enough for everyday work in living spaces. For softshell jackets used outdoors, a back print is worthwhile, recognisable on roof surfaces and from the street too. On the polo at the customer briefing, an embroidered logo makes a high-quality, long-lasting impression.

Frequently asked questions from fireplace installation companies
How do I wash printed workwear that gets very dirty?
Please follow the care label of the garment. For heavily soiled clothing, we recommend pre-washing and turning it inside out to protect the print. Washing too hot or using aggressive fabric softener can shorten the life of the print.
Can we print the same design on the T-shirt and the polo?
Yes. You provide one design that is applied to all ordered products. You can set the chest position and back design differently for different products – for example a chest logo for the polo and a back print for the jacket.
From how many pieces is an order worthwhile?
The indicative price starts from 10 pieces. For small fireplace installation teams of 3–4 people who order 2–3 items each, that is plenty. Unit prices drop noticeably from 25, 50 and 100 pieces.
What happens if we only have the logo as a JPEG?
During the ordering process, macherkleidung.de checks every logo individually for print suitability. If the JPEG is not sufficient, you receive tips on how to have a vector file created – nothing is produced without feedback.
Can we order different prints for installers and sales staff?
Yes. You can combine several designs or back designs in one enquiry. Tiered prices apply to the total quantity, even if different designs are included. Clarify this in the enquiry so the indicative price covers all variants.
