How well drilling companies work
The typical working day starts with setting up the drilling rig: pipes, well screens and drill bits are lined up, and gravel and clay fills are mixed. Depending on the geology, boreholes bring up all kinds of dirt – clayey drilling fluid, cuttings and iron deposits work their way into fabric. When installing well casing and submersible pumps, the crew comes into contact with cold water regularly, even in summer. Homeowners and commercial clients expect a tidy appearance at the final handover – team clothing with a logo helps make your presence look professional.
Mud & drilling fluid
Clayey cuttings and iron-rich drilling water leave stubborn stains. Dark, tough cotton qualities survive frequent washing without visible wear.
Cold & wet while drilling
Groundwater is cold all year round and drill rods splash back – a weatherproof mid layer and outer layer are essential even in early summer.
Physical strain & freedom of movement
Hauling pipes, installing pumps, setting well heads: trousers and tops have to move with you in every body position without tearing or restricting you.
Customer appointments & handover
Many well drilling projects end with an instruction session and handover of the documentation at the customer's site. A clean polo or sweatshirt with your logo underlines your expertise at the acceptance.

T-shirts for well drillers
The Fruit of the Loom F130 in Black or Deep Navy withstands everyday work on the drilling site: 150 g/m² cotton, tough enough for frequent washing with iron stains.
Sweatshirts for well drillers
The Fruit of the Loom F324 in Navy or Anthracite is the all-rounder for everyday well drilling: strong enough for cool mornings on the drilling site, not too warm for physical work.
Hoodies for well drillers
The Build Your Brand BYBB001 in Black or Charcoal is suited to drives between job sites and to cooler well locations in cellars or underground garage buildings.
Polo shirts for well drillers
The Tee Jays TJ1405 Luxury Stretch Polo in Navy or Dark Grey is the garment for customer appointments, documentation handovers and consultations with new-build clients.
Softshell jackets for well drillers
The Regatta Ablaze Printable Softshell in Black/Black or Navy/Navy is suited to all weather on drilling sites: wind-resistant, water-repellent and flexible enough for laying pipes and fitting pumps.
Rain jackets for well drillers
The James & Nicholson JN1878 Workwear Hardshell Rainjacket in Deep Blue/Steel is the protection for longer spells of rain on the drilling site: fully waterproof, with adjustable cuffs that limit the entry of splash water.
Work trousers for well drillers
The James & Nicholson JN832 Workwear Pants STRONG in Black/Carbon or Navy/Navy withstand cuttings, gravel beds and groundwater splashes better than standard work trousers.
Caps for well drillers
The Atlantis AT502 Cap in Navy or Black protects against the sun on the drilling site and keeps drilling-fluid splashes out of your face.
Beanies for well drillers
The Beechfield CB45 Beanie in Black or Navy makes sense in spring and autumn on exposed drilling sites: groundwater cools the air, wind blows out of the shaft, and body temperature drops quickly when you stand still while drilling.

Colours and logo
Black and anthracite reliably hide cuttings and iron stains and still look tidy after being worn many times. Navy works well for polo shirts at customer appointments and looks more serious than all-black clothing.

The company logo on the chest – embroidered on the polo, printed on T-shirts and sweatshirts – is visible during the customer conversation on the drilling site. On softshell jackets, a back print with company name and town is worthwhile, so your team is recognisable when dismantling the rig on public property. Embroidery on the polo holds up to frequent washing with dirty water longer than plain transfer printing.

Frequently asked questions from well drilling companies
Can I combine T-shirts and trousers in one order?
Yes. At macherkleidung.de, the total quantity of all items in one enquiry counts towards the tiered price calculation. If you order 20 T-shirts and 10 pairs of trousers, the 25-piece tier applies to both products. You enter your needs online and receive an indicative price as a PDF.
Which colours are suitable for drilling mud and iron stains?
Black, anthracite and navy hide cuttings, iron deposits and clay stains best – they still look tidy after several days of use. Light colours such as grey or sand show dirt faster, but are suitable for customer appointments if you change after drilling.
How long does delivery take when a large project is coming up?
The standard delivery time is 5 working days from approval of the print design. If a project starts quickly, there are express options: 48 hours with a 25 % surcharge or 24 hours with a 50 % surcharge. So you need to approve the design in good time – the clock only starts after that.
Is an embroidered logo or a printed logo better on the polo?
For polo shirts that are regularly worn at customer appointments after the drilling site, an embroidered logo lasts longer: it withstands frequent washing with aggressive detergent better than plain transfer printing. For T-shirts and sweatshirts in daily production use, digital printing on the chest is the cheaper, field-tested choice.
Can we leave sizes open and report them later?
Yes, sizes do not have to be fixed for the first indicative price. You roughly put together your needs and only provide a size mix after personal consultation. Production only starts after written approval of all details – including sizes.
