How Restaurants work
Restaurant life alternates between lunch and evening service, sauce stains on the forearm, stacked trays and guests with questions. The service team is in view all the time. In the kitchen, heat from the stove alternates with draughts from the cold room. At catering jobs, house calls or outdoor terraces, the team is also out in the open. Anyone who heats an outdoor terrace in winter needs a jacket that suits the work – not a private one.
Service appearance at the table
Service staff are in the guests' field of view throughout the evening. A uniform polo shirt or T-shirt with an embroidered chest logo underlines the brand concept and makes employees instantly recognisable to guests.
Heat changes between kitchen & cold room
Kitchen teams move between the hot stove, the cold room and goods reception. Light T-shirts for the heat, a sweatshirt for the cold room – both with a uniform logo.
Evening and event dining
At company events, weddings or anniversary dinners, expectations and guest numbers rise. A uniform team appearance gives structure even to large table groups and conveys professionalism.
Outdoor terrace & winter operation
Heated outdoor terraces in autumn and winter call for a transitional jacket with a logo that complements the service outfit without breaking the brand concept.

Colours and logo
Black is the classic in restaurant service – it is easy-care, looks professional and hides evening stains. White suits the lunch area and casual concepts; navy suits outdoor jackets and a bistro theme.

An embroidered chest logo on the service polo is the first choice for evening dining – it looks more refined than a print and easily survives several washes a week. For jackets and outdoor jobs, a back print that makes the restaurant visible from a distance is worthwhile. On T-shirts for the kitchen, a smaller chest print is enough.

Frequently asked questions from Restaurants
Can the service and kitchen teams get different models in one order?
Yes. You put together different models and colours in one enquiry – the tiered prices apply to the total quantity. Service polo shirts and kitchen T-shirts with the same logo, all in one order.
How long does delivery take before the restaurant opens?
The standard is 5 working days from approval of the print design. For openings we recommend at least 3 weeks' lead time so that there is time for corrections. Express 48 h (+25 %) or 24 h (+50 %) can also be booked.
Is an embroidered logo on the polo shirt possible?
Yes, embroidery is possible for polo shirts and recommended for evening dining. It looks more upmarket and reliably withstands several washes a week. We will discuss what makes more sense during our personal review after your enquiry.
Can we reorder clothing after a new opening if the team grows?
Reorders are possible at any time. From 10 pieces the online guide price applies. Note that very small quantities are more expensive at the same tier than larger orders – it makes sense to bundle your needs.
Can we include our special requests for catering events?
Yes. For events or catering appearances you can request your own design (e.g. an event lettering). After your enquiry we clarify what is technically feasible for printing and how it is combined with your regular team clothing.
